Fairfield Students
Want to see what a potential career looks like? The Stag Shadow Program pairs seniors, juniors, and sophomores with Fairfield alumni (and parents) for a half-day or full-day experience — in person or virtual — during winter break. It’s your chance to step inside the workplace, make valuable connections, and get insights from someone who’s been in your shoes.
By participating, you can:
- Experience a “day in the life” in a career that interests you
- Learn how a fellow Stag or parent turned their education into a successful career
- Get career advice, insider tips, and answers to your questions
New Matching Process
We’ve made it easier to find your ideal match. When hosts register, they’ll share details about their college experience, career path, industry, role, and location. Once your registration is approved, you’ll be able to browse host profiles and send a request to those who best match your career interests.
If your request is accepted, you and your host can work together to choose a date — most shadowing happens during winter break (Dec. 18 – Jan. 18), but you can also schedule before or after break.
If you have questions, contact the University Career Center at careers@fairfield.edu.
